If you haven’t heard the story about this tune allow me to shed some light. A few weeks before Billy & The Kids played their Grateful Mahalo shows back in late April Bill Kreutzmann shared these old Robert Hunter lyrics that were never put to music with Billy Strings and asked him to come up with the music to go along with it. Boy did he ever. What a massive honor and without a doubt Hunter is looking down smiling on this one.
